Ferry Leaving Port Tudy

By Tuesday we were getting stir crazy, so in spite of the weather having a 6 in it (SW F4/5 Gusting 6) we decided to make a dash for Port Tudy on Ile de Groix. We left at 10, and with 25 kts of apparent wind made fast progress with two reefs in the main and genoa. We arrived in Port Tudy just after 12 and found a space in the small marina to berth.

We enjoyed Ile de Groix, making good use of our folding bikes both to explore the island and to go to the supermarkets. We followed a cycle route round the island going to Porh en Hal, Port Saint-Nicolas and Locmaria. Navigation was a bit inexact at times and we ended up carrying the bikes down a steep path to Port St Nicolas.
